Ron Circelli, 14, sits in the shanty with his brother Nico, 10, in Lisle. They are ice fishing with their father Chris Circelli, of Plainfield, at Hidden Lakes Forest Preserve. Circelli owns a kitchen and bath remodeling company and he can afford to ice fish more these days because it is "slow at work," he said. "It keeps your mind off how slow work is. It keeps your mind off of bills and stuff." The upside, Circelli says, is that he gets to spend more time with his sons.
